APPEARANCE Emily holds herself very unsteadily, often hugging herself, picking at her arms with her nailless fingers. She is very young -- fifteen -- and looks her age. The werewolf blood in her makes even her slight frame capable of surprising physical exertion. She has thick, black hair cropped short, because it irrevocably turns into an afro if it is longer than a few inches. She is black. Emily is tall for a girl, at 5' 8" and is very lithe. In her furred forms, her hair is dark black with bright red around her front paws, indicative of her Red Talon blood.

PERSONALITY As a Metis abandoned by her parents, Emily has some confidence issues. She is anxious in social environments, compounded by her general intelligence and supernatural sense of Perception. She is very aware of her surroundings, as well as what people are thinking. This manifests as a young girl, constantly looking around like a scared rabbit. Emily has put her trust in her pack, believing that she may have finally found a good place for herself.

HISTORY Emily was born to a Red Talon mother and unknown father. Rather than mother a Metis in shame, the Garou Desert Winds left the child to the Children of Gaia near Chicago. She has since had no contact with her daughter. Emily took her mother's name when she reached an age to understand such things, but her nickname "Softpaws" always stuck more, due to her lack of nails and claws in all forms.

Currently, the young Garou works very part time at a local park, teaching people about the area and about the environment. It isn't a good paying job, but it suits the young girl.

She wants to become a park ranger when she grows up, but will likely end up doing something at the Caern.
