Appearance:

Felix Cortez is 6'0 tall and weighs 195 lbs. His hair is Jet-Black and usually styled messily. It's long enough to style, but well above shoulder-length. Felix's eyes are Navy Blue and he has a thin goatee that is well-trimmed. He possesses a lean and muscled frame, yet his shoulders are quite broad. He has a strong, square jaw and an average-sized nose and ears. His skin is relatively light for someone of Spanish descent.

Background:

Felix Cortez is descended from none other than Hernando Cortez, the famous Spanish Conquistador who conquered the Mayan Empire. Felix had always considered this unlikely and dismissed what he'd heard from family as rumors and wishful thinking. However, his recent wanderlust has given him some pause and caused him to reconsider the possibility. . .

The son of Spanish Immigrants, Felix can still remember the first time he saw the statue of liberty during his journey to New York City. He was 12 years old and the experience shaped the rest of his life. His parents did the best they could to make a new life, but money was tight and times were hard. Felix decided to join the Navy at the age of 18. It was a way to serve the country he loved, make some decent money, learn new skills, and travel the world! After serving for a few years, Felix decided he'd make it his career as he loved his work and had a natural aptitude for navigation. Not only that, he had a thirst for adventure!

His motto was "work hard, play hard" He knew how to party and would always sample plenty of exotic and high-quality food, liquor, and women. Not necessarily in that order! While on leave, during "Fleet Week" in New York City, Felix was promptly seduced by a beautiful woman who seemed to already know who he was. Felix didn't quite get the "embrace" he was expecting and instead became the childe of this nomadic Gangrel.
His sire taught him much of the clan's ways and how to realize much of his potential through Gangrel disciplines. Being of the Bruja bloodline, she also taught him the devastating power of Vigor. Being the nomad that she is, his sire soon after teaching him everything he "needed to know" informed Felix that it was time to go their separate ways and wished him well. Knowing nothing else but a life of travel, Felix traveled about the country and tried to keep his spirit of adventure alive. Once motorcycles had been invented and become readily available, Felix rekindled his love for adventure and travel. He's always looking for new sights to see and things to do. Most recently, he's set up shop in Las Vegas. "Sin City" has yet to disappoint him in it's offerings of adventure, danger, and sheer spectacle. With the Kindred power struggles hitting a fever pitch, Felix has begun to wonder if he'll survive to see another city. If not, he's determined to go out with a bang!
