Background: Johnny Example, rookie agent of the Vanguard Serial Crimes Unit used to be a simple police detective-in-training until he decided to apply for the FBI, the promise of prestige and generous benefits luring him in. Although he failed the physical exam, his ability to read a scene just a little too quickly had him railroaded into VASCU, where he found himself way over his head and with no way out.

Appearance: Johnny is a young white man with short brown hair and a slight build. He dresses in plainclothes except for those rare moments when he feels the need to put on the air of authority. Johnny keeps a compact Glock 26 and steel combat knife concealed on his person for emergency situations, and a digital camera and notebook to record his investigations.
