Doug is a geologist, and has been on many expeditions to Antarctica. He's middle aged, but in good shape. He has no wife or kids, but several siblings who live all over the place. As a result, he rarely sees them. He's fairly quiet, but, after a few drinks, will happily begin lengthy discussions of geology and the environment to anyone silly enough to feign interest. He's not particularly tall, not particularly well shaven, and going grey at an alarming rate.

He has a slender wolf form, with a thick black coat.
